The acoustic’s secrets and an exclusive collection of equipment and instruments, including more than 120 microphones available for your special sessions and allow us to record Anything, Anytime...
Mixing
Our studios are designed for all mixing standards and for all media types. They are equipped with Pro Tools HDX2 V.12 for your "in-the-box" mixing, also with the rarest vintage equipment, you even benefit from the possibility to integrate your mixing on analog tapes. Studio C is specially designed to mix in stereo and for the 5.1 mixing
Post-Production
You have the possibility to record in our cabins or to send us your sessions for remote exchange with e.mixing using our secure servers. Voice-over, sound design, editing, mixing...We respond, on a daily basis, to all requests regarding audio material and the upgrading of your programs broadcast on the web, the radio, TV or the movie theaters.
Movie Soundtracks
For 45 years, our studios have accompanied more than 700 films thanks to a well thought-out structure from the beginning, which satisfied the greatest composers’ expectations. The Studio-A offers the possibility to record from a Steinway D concert up to an orchestra of 96 musicians. The combination of both studios represents our most requested services and made us earn many awards
Mastering
Our mastering services are provided by Metropolis UK. We take care of your projects from Paris, we send them to our partner "The 3rd Floor", who handle them directly at Metropolis Mastering in London in order to ensure the highest monitoring quality that we can on a day-to-day basis. Then, you can come to the studio and listen to your songs mastered by the most rewarded engineers on the planet.
Musical events
We privatize our studios for your musical events. Our premises were used for MTV events, ITunes, TF1, M6, TV5, ARTE, Universal TV Off, for the shooting of shows, videos, even movie sequences, and also private Show-Cases during which we hosted London Grammar, One Republic, Franz Ferdinand, Arthur H, The Black Keys, Lily Allen, James Blunt, Phoenix and Lenny Kravitz, among others.
Maintenance
It is the only studio in France that has a full time and permanent technical manager as part of the team! Our lab is equipped with all the tools: generators, digital and analog analyzers, dummy loads, Variac, tube testers etc…and electronic parts are daily replenished in a storehouse full of spares, rare tubes and unobtainable EPROMs, hundreds of parts used in the studio on a daily basis and at the best technical level.
Audio Transfert
The Audio Transfer department of our studios offers the possibility to transfer many analog audio formats 2 '', 1/2 '', 1/4 '' to digital ones such as 44.1, 48, 96, 192 kHz and vice versa, to restore the oldest tapes before reading or archiving them, prepare PTHDX sessions from tapes by renaming and assigning track by track in order to provide clear and complete projects.
Concierge
The Grand Army Studio has a concierge department in order to meet all the guests’ requests, we can prepare your sessions on the "riders" style basis or the “pure comfort” one, accommodate your transportation or special requests for meals and catering all during your sessions. We also have at your disposal all back-office and production services.
